Did you know that Falco provides an array of temporary cycle parking facilities in addition to long lasting permanent cycle parking infrastructure?

Temporary cycle parking (also referred to as pop-up cycle parking) is a cost-effective solution for locations where cycle parking is required on a temporary basis. Applications may include festivals, markets, concerts, fairs, exhibitions, sports events or simply where permanent cycle parking provision is yet to be decided.

In addition to the events mentioned above, Falco can provide cycle parking to organisations that require a temporary solution, such as; the NHS, railway stations and airports, shopping centres, stadiums and arenas, leisure centres, colleges and universities and tourist attractions.

With the use of a series of Sheffield Stands, Toast racks or two-tier cycle parking systems, temporary cycle parking can be provided to accommodate as little as two bikes to several hundred. Falco temporary cycle parking is available UK-wide with packages from one day to several months of hire.

Additional, added-value facilities, can also be provided in the form of a robust cycle pump, repair and maintenance station, seating, cycle locker helmets, e-bike charging lockers and information boards.

Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games

Falco has provided temporary cycle parking solutions to events across the UK including the flagship Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games!

Back in 2014, Falco teamed up with four of Scotland’s sports and cycling organisations, to provide a series of bespoke cycle parking racks for the world-famous event.

Falco designed, manufactured and installed 950 cycle parking spaces using bespoke ‘Toaster’ style cycle racks as temporary cycle parking for spectators to use throughout the games. Each rack featured an end ‘tapping plate’ to incorporate the logos of; Glasgow Commonwealth Games Legacy 2014, Transport Scotland, Sustrans and Cycling Scotland. The racks were installed at over 20 of the key sporting locations of the games including; the Commonwealth Sports Arena, Hampden Park, Celtic Park, Ibrox Stadium, Scottish Exhibition Centre and the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome to name a few.

Each of the FalcoToaster racks had five cycle hoops enabling 10 bikes to be secured, in all a total of 950 cycle spaces were provided!

Branded Temporary Cycle Parking

Bespoke branding for your event is available too! What better way to promote and highlight cycling as key transport option, than to provide visitors with temporary branded cycle parking! Why not take it one step further and apply an attractive RAL colour to make the area really stand out!

Attractive signage can also be located at your event to showcase the cycle parking area including a large ‘cycle hub’ sign at the entrance to the facility.

Falco provides a comprehensive temporary cycle parking design and installation service. Including free UK-wide site surveys and advice on how to implement temporary cycle parking, free CAD design, free rendering graphics to help visualise any scheme and complete delivery, installation and pick up of any cycle parking package, regardless of where you may be located!
