This is the new bespoke cycle hub Falco recently designed, manufactured, supplied and installed this spring for Harrow on the Hill Underground Station, on behalf of the London Borough of Harrow.
In response to the growing demand for secure, sustainable cycling infrastructure, the London Borough of Harrow partnered with Falco to deliver a bespoke cycle hub at Harrow on the Hill Underground Station. The installation supports the borough’s commitment to greener travel options and enhanced urban mobility.
Making use of the flagship FalcoHub design, the new cycle hub has been fitted with the tried and tested FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle rack, providing commuters with up to 40 secure cycle parking spaces.
The bespoke 6m x 4.3m cycle hub has been fitted with innovative FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle racks, six e-bike charging points, a secure access system, LED lighting, bespoke branding graphics and a green sedum roof.
The front elevation features reinforced safety glass, while the remaining three sides are clad in sustainably sourced FSC-certified hardwood, combining security with aesthetic appeal.
Key features of the cycle hub include:
- 40 cycle parking spaces using the innovative FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle rack, optimising capacity within a compact footprint.
- Six dedicated e-bike charging bays, supporting the growing trend of electric cycling.
- A sedum green roof, promoting biodiversity and contributing to the structure’s environmental sustainability.
- Secure access, LED lighting, and London Borough of Harrow branding applied to the glass cladding, ensuring the hub is both user-friendly and visually integrated into the community setting.
Installed in April 2025, the new cycle hub stands as a benchmark for urban cycling infrastructure. The new installation offers a secure, modern, and eco-conscious facility that encourages active transport and supports LB Harrow’s sustainable development goals.
