As a supporter of ‘Skills Pledge’ cycle parking company Falco continue to support training and development amongst its staff. MD Jeremy Green and apprentice Mark Wain supported Skillsbase as they held an introductory seminar for potential apprentices at Leek College last week.

Falco are progressively doing more and more work with projects concerned with Building Schools for the Future. Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is the biggest-ever school buildings investment programme. The aim is to rebuild or renew nearly every secondary school in England.

Falco supports the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme in a number of ways. BSF is the biggest-ever school buildings investment programme with the aim to rebuild or renew almost every secondary school in England and a large part of that rebuilding includes cycle parking, bin stores, street furniture, canopies and shelters for the external works.
Back in February this year Falco officially announced the opening of our new environmentally sustainable head office in Vriezenveen in the Netherlands. Due to strong growth over the last five years the decision to consolidate all its Dutch operations into a single integrated European facility was approved.
Falco cycle shelters and stores have been installed at numerous schools, colleges and academy’s throughout the UK, so it was only natural that we took a stand at the recent BSEC Building Schools for the Future exhibition at London’s ExCel centre.

Falco had an excellent visit to the London Cycle show meeting up with some very enthusiastic cyclists as they strolled their way through the dynamic event at London’s Earls Court last week. As visitors enjoyed the show, upgraded their bikes and participated in a variety of different obstacle courses, Falco was given the opportunity to emphasise the large amounts of cycle parking solutions available to meet all budgets.
The ladies at Falco showed their support for Cancer Research UK by taking part in the Race for Life charity event. The event took place at Tatton Park in Cheshire on the 19th June 2010 where participants turned out in their thousands. Our ladies put their best foot forward to complete the distance of 5km as they battled it out against the sizzling summer sun.
