Falco recently supplied the University of Southampton with two bespoke FalcoQuarter cycle compounds and a bin store to accommodate a total of 80 bikes. Falco provided full design, manufacture, supply and installation of the compounds as well as concrete foundations which have been installed at the University’s Wessex Hall campus.
The two FalcoQuarter cycle compounds have been installed with four – five place Toaster cycle racks along with a walkway cover and lockable gate providing secure cycle parking for up to 40 bikes each. The cycle compound has been powder coated in RAL 5014 Pigeon Blue.
Falco has great experience of working within the education sector and in particular universities where it has supplied a huge range of cycle parking and street furniture products to universities across the UK. These include cycle shelters, lockable stores and picnic tables for Loughborough University, four bays of double-sided cycle canopy for the University of West Scotland, wooden clad shelters to accommodate 40 cycle spaces for Reading University, cycle shelters for the Arts University College at Bournemouth, a contemporary walkway canopy for Warwick University and a number of street furniture products at Middlesex University.
