Falco was delighted to sponsor local Football club, Leek Town, for its home match on Saturday 25th February as they took on mid table Trafford FC in the Northern Premier League Division One West league match at Harrison Park.
The match kicked off on a crisp winter Saturday afternoon and The Blues knew this would be a tough game to keep any playoff hopes alive.
A crowd of 471 saw the Leek Town side bounce back after conceding an early Trafford penalty at 15 minutes and second Trafford goal at 26 minutes to leave a half time result of Leek Town 1 – Trafford 2. A further Trafford goal at 53 minutes secured the victory for Trafford in a combative 3 – 1 win.
Mark Wain, Marketing Manager, added; “it was a very chilly day but we got a very warm reception from the Leek Board and staff, it really is a great local club, plus the quality of the football was excellent, we were all impressed by the standard which the Leek team produced. All-in-all a fantastic day and a privilege to have the opportunity to be again involved in local sport. Hopefully Leek can push on to the end of the season and get the promotion they deserve!”

Other recent examples include sponsoring Keatesy's Community Boxing Academy, a local not-for-profit academy opened by professional boxer, Andy Keates, sponsoring Sparrow Park, a new charitable project aimed at developing young people with learning disabilities and mental health issues and sponsoring Leek Town U10 Girls Football Team shirts.
