The accreditation follows an extensive audit which highlighted the company’s success in meeting the FORS criteria, adhering to best practice to achieve fleet safety, ensuring its vehicles are equipped with the necessary safety devices, and driver safety - ensuring drivers are sufficiently trained. The accreditation also recognises Falco’s efforts in reducing its carbon footprint on the environment.

Commenting on the new FORS Silver accreditation Managing Director, Rob Harper, said “We’re delighted to have achieved this accreditation, which encompasses all aspects of safety and efficiency throughout our delivery activities. This is part of Falco’s drive to further improve our UK-wide operations”.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme aiming to drive up standards within fleet operations and demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency and environmental protection.

The latest accreditation supports the existing fleet of delivery vehicles and forms part of a wider strategic plan of investments into our manufacturing, delivery and installation departments which also include state-of-the-art solar panels, Euro 6 profile engines across the vehicle fleet saving up to 13% more energy compared to Euro 5 profile engines and achieving compliancy with EN 1090 CE Mark.
