The new state of the art cycle canopies installed at the University of West Scotland provide students with secure cycle parking for up to a massive 90 bikes! The requirement for a dedicated cycle parking facility at the Ayr campus became apparent due to the increasing volume of students travelling to university by bike, but found a lack of parking facilities. The FalcoGamma cycle shelter was the product identified to meet this requirement due to its large span and sleek gull wing design, which was easily capable of accommodating the mass amount of bicycle spaces required. FalcoGamma Cycle Shelter
A design characteristic for this model is the central column that evolves into two gull wing upward facing branches. The name Gamma was chosen because, when viewed from the side, the shape of the cycle shelter looks like the Greek letter gamma and underlines the design statement that we wanted to make with this new shelter. The new FalcoGamma shelter is available in both double sided and single sided versions.
