Millgate Car Park in Thirsk Receives Bespoke Bus Shelter on Behalf of North Yorkshire Council

Home Case Studies Millgate Car Park in Thirsk Receives Bespoke Bus Shelter on Behalf of North Yorkshire Council

This is the bespoke bus shelter Falco manufactured, supplied and installed for Millgate Car Park in Thirsk last week, on behalf of North Yorkshire Council.

The 5m x 1m bus shelter is based on the traditional FalcoLok design, complete with open front, perch seat, branding graphics, safety glass cladding and a powder coated finish.

The client originally contacted Falco to provide a simple and effective bus shelter solution, suitable for a busy market town centre location. Falco provided the client with a free site visit, free HD rendering graphics to help visualise the proposed design and free AutoCAD drawings.

The installed shelter is a bespoke contemporary design of the classic FalcoLok shelter, which features clean lines through the glass cladding and supported by stainless steel glass clamps. The steelwork is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and also meets UK structural design laws with EN 1090 accreditation. Rainwater is collected via innovative integral gutters as part of the roof system and a bespoke bund ensure that the cycle hub is weather proof!

Millgate is an 85 space, 24 hour, car park located on Marage Road, located in the busy market town of Thirsk. Millgate offers low cost car parking, electric vehicle charging points and a public convenience facility.
