Falco has manufactured, supplied and installed 32 FalcoLevel-Eco two-tier cycle parking spaces for Cheltenham General Hospital NHS.
The new cycle parking area is located to the right of the Chedworth Surgical Unit, providing secure and space-efficient cycle parking for staff, visitors and hospital patients. By using a two-tier system, the installation maximises cycle parking capacity within the covered compact footprint, helping to make best use of the available space on site.
The FalcoLevel-Eco is a cost-effective two-tier cycle parking solution designed for projects where high-capacity cycle parking is required while keeping budget considerations in mind. The system allows bicycles to be parked on both the upper and lower levels, helping sites such as hospitals, universities, transport hubs and commercial developments increase cycle parking provision without requiring a large amount of additional space.
As with all FalcoLevel two-tier systems, the upper rack is supported by gas strut assistance, helping users lift and lower bicycles more easily when parking on the upper level. The design also includes secure locking points and U-profile wheel gutters to help keep bicycles stable and organised.
This latest installation demonstrates Falco’s continued experience in delivering practical cycle parking solutions for healthcare environments. By providing secure and accessible cycle parking, Cheltenham General Hospital is helping to support active travel and encourage cycling as a convenient and sustainable transport option for those travelling to and from the site.
