These are the new series of FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle racks recently manufactured, supplied and installed by Falco for the Internationally renowned Addenbrookes teaching and research hospital in Cambridge!
Falco installed a series of 258 spaces of the UK’s leading two-tier cycle rack replacing traditional Sheffield Stands enabling a doubling of capacity within the same amount of space. The hospital specified 400mm centre to centre distances to allow for the diverse range of cycles expecting to be parked by staff members.
The cycle parking was installed by Falco’s own installation teams and undertaken over a weekend period to reduce disruption to the workings of the hospital and staff.
Pictured here is the impressive new cycle parking arrangement, providing an enhanced number of cycle parking spaces and improved security compared to the previously installed Sheffield Stands.
Along with Addenbrookes Hospital, Falco has supplied and installed secure cycle parking at many hospitals and health centres across the UK including: NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, West London Mental Health NHS Trust, NHS Cobridge Health Centre, Royal Stoke University Hospital and Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The FalcoLevel-Premium+ is an ingenious two-tier cycle rack designed to accommodate twice as many cycles within the same space restraints of any traditional cycle rack or stand. Moving forward, the two-tier cycle racks are designed to be maintenance free to provide minimal cost of ownership to the client (only occasional cleaning required). Additionally should there be any unforeseen damage, the modular nature of each structure means that replacing any damaged items is simple and easy to undertake.
