Following Falco's innovative cycle locker project at the Old Tobacco factory in Laren, Holland last year, the requirement for shelters and stores with a sedum roof has significantly increased as architects and specifiers look for shelters in line with their environmental plan. Our latest project takes place at the Kindcampus Grootstal primary school in Nijmegen, Holland, using the popular FalcoLok store with steel cladding. Falco manufactured and installed the robust locker with a sedum green roof to provide a lockable facility for pupils to store play equipment whilst keeping a natural and secluded appearance. Not only does the robust store provide a secure area to store equipment, but the truly remarkable aspect of the shelter lies within the green roof that has been customised to accommodate a roof lining of sedum. The sedum roof is an eye-catching aspect within the school and creates a relaxed and natural atmosphere as well as being an environmentally friendly feature.

FalcoLok Cycle Shelter
The FalcoLok store is a very versatile range of cycle shelters providing a lockable secure store in a modular range and can be supplied in 2,500mm, 3000mm or 5000mm modules, up to any size. Useful for storing a wide range of items such as; cycles, equipment, bins etc. The FalcoLok cycle shelter is a robust and vandal resistant utilitarian product but in a great design.
Available in a range of cladding - hardwood slats, corrugated aluzinc sheets, pierced steel, Trespa or wire mesh, the FalcoLok cycle shelter is a great addition to any design scheme.
