Circular
The Netherlands wants to be fully circular by 2050 and use 50% less primary raw materials (minerals, metals and fossil fuels) by 2030. That is a challenge, also for Falco. Since its foundation, Falco has been working modularly and progressively. But circular thinking still requires adjustments. That is why Falco has had a Circular Manager, John Wermink, since 2020.
John focuses on making Falco products as circular as possible, including:
- designs for easy assembly and disassembly
- repairing, refurbishing and recycling
- retaining the (residual) value of materials and labour
- certification according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, VCA, FSC® and the CO2 performance ladder (KAM)
