Falco is delighted that one of its long serving employees has been chosen to represent the main England’s mens pool team at next year’s European Championships. Sales Co-ordinator, Ben Duffield, successfully qualified for England after progressing through the mens England trials in Great Yarmouth back in 2020. Ben, who has been playing pool since aged 11, has represented various teams at local level, before representing his home town of Leek, then progressing onto representing his local county, Staffordshire, at junior level, then further progressing to represent Staffordshire at senior level and now qualifying to represent the mens national pool team at three international events next year. Following a large number of successful installations across the UK’s NHS network, the agreement, which was been tendered to provide best value to NHS related facilities, has now been extended. We are delighted (and astonished!) that Falco’s Accountant, Netty Barlow, has (yet again) raised over £350 for Cancer Research UK by participating in the Stoke-on-Trent Pretty Muddy 5k ‘mud run’ event at Central Forest Park in Hanley on Sunday 12th September. Netty put her best foot forward and joined hundreds of women and children to tackle a 5k muddy obstacle course, hurdling over obstacles into piles of mud, weaving through spiders webs, scaling climbing frames and tyres, crawling through tunnels, scramble nets and mud pits and finally racing down an inflatable mud chute!
