Managing Director, Jeremy Green, presented the long service awards and champagne at a presentation morning last Friday.

News & Blog 4 Sep 2014 Solar Powered Space Shuttle Bench in Honour of First Dutch Astronaut! Falco has manufactured, supplied and installed a futuristic space shuttle style bench with solar powered LEDs to commemorate the first Dutch astronaut - Wubbo Johannes Ockels. Wubbo was born in Almelo, Netherlands, in March 1946 and participated in a flight on a space shuttle (STS-61-A) in 1985, making him the first Dutch citizen in space!

Last month Falco attended the Bike Week 2014 conference at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands at Hyde Park Gate in London. Bike Week is the UKâ€™s biggest mass participation cycling event for the second year running and provides a catalyst for encouraging people to use pedal power.

Falco has donated a number of tools and equipment for the â€˜Together for Zambiaâ€™ project, which focuses on young people living in Zambia who want to learn a trade in fabrication. Around half of Zambians are unemployed with more than 85% considered to be living below the poverty line.

Here at Falco we are used to receiving deliveries from the post office, however on this occasion we were pleased to deliver something back! - in this case a new bike storage shelter at the Royal Mail Delivery Office, Christchurch, Dorset.

News & Blog 5 Sep 2013 New FalcoSpan Canopies for Ysgol Y Felin Primary School This is Ysgol Y Felin Primary school in Conwy, Wales, whose requirement for four shelters was solved using Falco bespoke canopies. Ysgol Y Felin required a weather canopy to be located outside each classroom to keep the students play equipment dry during lesson time.

News & Blog 14 Aug 2013 Falco Pays Condolences to Richard Martin – the founder of Falco UK (formerly Arunhithe) All the staff at Falco were saddened by the news that the former owner Richard Martin died suddenly on Sunday 30th June. Richard was celebrating his 76th birthday with his wife Yvonne, whilst on holiday in Croatia.

News & Blog 14 Aug 2013 FalcoCam – the perfect cycle stand? Is the new FalcoCam the best design of cycle stand in the world to date? This week Cambridge City Council launched a trial of the new FalcoCam cycle stand to see if this was really the case. The original Falco design, developed in conjunction with the cycling team at Cambridge, incorporates as many of the features one could hope for in a cycle stand so that they provide maximum benefit to all; cyclists, all different types of bike and of course provides the Council with a solution to a number of on street issues.
