In comparison to the previous diesel-powered truck, the new electric fork truck provides zero carbon emissions, has a much quieter operation, lower running costs and offers a more ergonomic driving experience. Falco is delighted to announce the new appointment of Owen Denny as our new Operations Assistant based at our head office in Leekbrook. Owen joins us having previously left college and gaining three years’ experience processing, planning and organising orders to meet customer deadlines within the printing industry. Reporting to Contracts Manager, Steven Jackson, Owen’s new role at Falco will involve supporting all areas of the Operations Department including; operational planning, organising deliveries and collections, assisting all aspects of health and safety including CDM, carrying out site surveys and generally supporting Steve with the excellent project management we provide to our customers. Falco’s HGV vehicles have been fitted with indirect vision improvements and have been granted a Direct Vision Standard (DVS) HGV Safety Permit in order to make safer deliveries in Greater London. Falco is unique in running its own fleet of cycle parking delivery and installation vehicles and as part of the company vehicle fleet upgrade, Falco HGV’s underwent improved signage to the side and rear of each vehicle, installation of a nearside sensor and camera system with in cab screen, audible left turn alarm, off-side, forward facing and rear facing camera and recordable hard drive. FalcoSmart Keyless Bike Hangar is the latest development of our FalcoSmart App-based cycle parking system for bike hangars and (cycle hubs) which removes the traditional key based locking system completely, providing hands-free/handle-less entry to any UK bike hangar. The Falco keyless entry system is simple to use and works through the FalcoSmart App via the resident’s phone. The user simply opens the app and presses the on-screen button/icon and the door opens. The user then closes the door normally until it ‘clicks’ shut again.
