The UK government has recently confirmed a significant funding package designed to accelerate walking, wheeling and cycling infrastructure across England — creating opportunities for local authorities, communities and partners to deliver more active travel routes and facilities. In December 2025, Active Travel England (ATE) announced that councils across England have been awarded over £626 million in central government funding to support walking, wheeling and cycling schemes. This multi-year investment is expected to deliver around 500 miles of new and upgraded routes and support an additional 170,000 greener, more active trips per day. The funding aims to enable safer streets, healthier communities and more sustainable travel choices by backing local authorities with capital funding, technical support and capability development. Falco Raises Over £350 for Cancer Research UK

We are delighted (and astonished!) that Falco’s Accountant, Netty Barlow, has (yet again) raised over £350 for Cancer Research UK by participating in the Stoke-on-Trent Pretty Muddy 5k ‘mud run’ event at Central Forest Park in Hanley on Sunday 12th September. Netty put her best foot forward and joined hundreds of women and children to tackle a 5k muddy obstacle course, hurdling over obstacles into piles of mud, weaving through spiders webs, scaling climbing frames and tyres, crawling through tunnels, scramble nets and mud pits and finally racing down an inflatable mud chute! After the event Netty said “Cancer can only be eradicated with more money being put into research, to find out what causes it, how we can stop it, and how to...

In comparison to the previous diesel-powered truck, the new electric fork truck provides zero carbon emissions, has a much quieter operation, lower running costs and offers a more ergonomic driving experience. Charging the electric fork truck is easily achieved with 100% renewable energy generated on Falco’s own premises - thanks to a recent major 50kWh solar PV panelling upgrade to the warehouse roof, ensuring Falco is a completely energy self sufficient business (and even provides additional energy back to the grid!). The new electric fork truck shown here is just one of a number of environmental improvements...

Circularity

Falco has been a family company with its own production site for over 70 years. Sustainability was in our DNA from the very beginning and this is reflected within our complete range of modular cycle parking and shelter products, all designed with full circularity in mind.

All products ranges are contemporary and durable, typical of a Falco product. Falco has been at the forefront of the cycle parking and street furniture market and has built up a renowned reputation for manufacturing products that exceed in both design and durability.

Falco’s operations have supported the Circular Economy for many years, simply manufacturing products with environmentally friendly products, that can last for decades and at the end of the product life can be 100% recycled and manufactured back into a brand new product.
