Case Studies

When the London Borough of Kingston wanted to maximise the number of cycles they could store at their main office, the Guildhall Triangle Complex, Falco were able to help design the cycle store so that they could house as many cycles as possible in the space available. Working closely with the architects at DFT and the staff at H&V Building Services Falco were able to provide optimised layouts of the storage area. Shelter with great features The FalcoLite cycle shelter with Sheffield cycle stands is a robust and hi-spec shelter offering a number of great features including robust polycarbonate roof sheets and integral gutters to ensure the cycles and cyclists are kept visible and dry. The double sided ‘gullwing’ design offers maximum storage in the minimum of space. All the steel work is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 for a long life.

This is Glyn Technology School in Epsom where the staff already had cycle parking racks but they were out in the open and needed a cost effective Falco canopy structure to keep the cycles dry. Free site visit Following a free site visit, from Steve Ford, Falco’s South Eastern Manager, we were able to quickly provide some options for covered shelters at competitive prices. A further site visit enabled us to measure the site for optimum sizes and prepare installation information. Shelter installation The shelters were installed last month by one of Falco’s own cycle parking installation teams. By employing our own shelter installation engineers, Falco can control costs and quality, plus we can draw on many years of experience when going to site. The installation teams are positive and proactive and work closely with clients to provide and optimum shelter solution. Questions? The Council of Milton Keynes (a city of cyclists) wanted a modern bicycle shelter to cover there many bicycles near their Railway station. The result you can see in the picture. Under the shelter we have put our Triangle-30 Sheffield stands.
