Falco has a long trading history with Higgins Construction and completed a number of high profile projects on their behalf. At this prestigious Granville Road site, Higgins used the FalcoLok store for its versatility and quality, and as Londoners are keen cyclists, wanted a robust and secure solution. The FalcoLok in its different sizes was an ideal solution for securely storing all of the residents cycles in the various locations on the site. The residents also wanted a store for their bins and so the FalcoLok series was a perfect choice because of its multi-purpose functions. Both bicycles and bins were safely locked out of site which created a tidy and secure area Falco also supplied all of the brick built garden store flat steel roofs, so as to be in keeping with the cycle stores nearby. Each roof had to be made to measure as many of the garden stores were bespoke to each individual property.

The new FalcoSafe cycle lockers at Milton Keynes Railway Station have proven to be a great success. Falco has had a close working with Milton Keynes Council for many years and the partnership has strengthened following the positive response from the users of the FalcoSafe cycle lockers. Installation cycle lockers Two years ago Falco installed 80 of FalcoSafe Round cycle lockers after high demand from regular commuters for a secure area to store bicycles. These cycle lockers proved to be a huge success after no bicycles were stolen or vandalised in these 2 years and word began to get around. More demand arose for the cycle lockers which prompted Milton Keynes Council to commission 70 more of the lockers which Falco installed last month. Personal cycle locker These cycle lockers were personalised with the ‘Cycle MK’ Milton Keynes logo and the cycle lockers are leased out to the public for a small annual fee. The demand for these lockers is so high that Milton Keynes still has a rented waiting list for more of the personalised cycle lockers to be installed at the station. More about the FalcoSafe cycle locker The FalcoSafe cycle Locker is a robust and secure cycle storage unit which protects bicycles and mopeds from the destructive effects of vandals and weather conditions. The steelwork is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 to provide long lasting protection and Milton Keynes decided to have the doors powder coated in one of our many RAL colours. Any number of cycle lockers can be linked together and in addition, the lockers can also be placed back to back. This great flexibility allows you to choose your own combinations and lengths. The standard cycle locker is suitable for securing with a user’s padlock and with coin return.

The heavy snow in Wales didn’t prevent the installation of this FalcoBreeze canopy with FalcoToasters for cycle parking. This installation was involved in Phase II of the on-going project at Ebbw Vale Innovation Centre. New canopy The FalcoBreeze canopy is a fairly new product to Falco offering a great alternative where floor space is limited. The FalcoBreeze canopy offers a great overhead canopy space, helping to keep bicycles dry in the typical British weather, whilst occupying a minimum of floor space with this model canopy. Length of canopy The length of the FalcoBreeze ranges from a 2,000mm long canopy to a much greater span of 5,000mm. Add-on sections are also available for extra length and coverage. The South Wales Innovation Centre was developed to provide a state of the art working environment to support the needs of new and developing businesses and play an important part in the area’s regeneration. This series of FalcoSpan canopies were installed over Christmas at Glory Park in High Wycombe. The architect took our modular FalcoSpan design and added wooden cladding around the uprights to add a touch of class enabling the shelter to blend perfectly with the building. Flexible canopies The FalcoSpan series of canopies offer great flexibility, useful for smoking shelters, cycle shelters, walkways and general shelters. An exceptionally attractive and open shelter, the FalcoSpan can cover every option. Keeping natural The blending of the FalcoSpan canopies with the building was important to upholding the idea of a natural environment as BAM stated that their aim was for the Park’s architecture to reflect and grow naturally out of the site’s features. Because of Glory Park’s popularity and industrious nature, their demand for cycle parking was high which lead to their interest in the six bays of FalcoSpan canopies which Falco installed. State of the art Glory Park’s appeal comes from its pleasing combination of state of the art office space with a sympathetically landscaped and thoroughly natural environment. The result is a restful and dynamic workplace. The Park and its surrounding villages offer occupiers a rural setting with the world of commerce close to hand. BAM Construction - Glory Park.
