Cambridge City Council has installed the first series of FalcoCam cycle stands providing additional secure cycle parking to the City centre! The FalcoCam cycle stand was developed in conjunction with the cycling team at Cambridge which provides a solution to a number of on street issues as well as incorporating as many features a cyclist could hope for.  After previous cycle stand batches, Falco was asked to put a reverse crank into the tube so that the submerged part goes parallel with the ground. This makes installation easier with coring holes and not having to excavate at angles. Falco has recently manufactured, supplied and installed a series of two-tier cycle parking systems and cycle canopies for Warwick Railway Station. Using our popular FalcoLevel two-tier cycle parking system and our spacious FalcoRail cycle canopy, 30 secure cycle parking spaces have been created providing secure cycle parking and peace of mind for the traveling public.   The FalcoLevel two-tier cycle rack was chosen for its compact and space-saving design which is a proven product in combating high demand for cycle parking spaces with 300 parking spaces installed at Leeds CyclePoint, 988 spaces installed at Chelmsford CyclePoint, 384 spaces at Colchester Railway Station and 80 spaces at Stoke-on-Trent Railway Station. with the capability to house twice the quantity of bicycles compared to any other tradition cycle rack or stand. Commissioned by the City Council of Hengelo, Netherlands, Falco worked with Dutch designers IPV Delft to design and manufacture four bespoke seating systems for Hengelo city centre, in the district of Overijssel. Street Furniture with Multiple FeaturesThe idea of the project was to design a single piece of street furniture that could consolidate multiple features into one, instead of purchasing and installing separate street furniture items. Based upon the popular FalcoLinea series of street furniture, Falco manufactured four extra large seating systems consisting of three units: a bench without back, a seat with back and planter. The seats are manufactured from hardwood and recyclable galvanised steel with distinctive orange infill panels. Having recently installed the benches in Hengelo, the end result was welcomed by the City Council and members of the public. The four bespoke seating systems work exceptionally well in urban areas such as cities and town centres where space for street furniture items may be strictly limited. Falco has recently manufactured, supplied and installed a contemporary FalcoSail cycle shelter with a Toaster cycle rack to the Talk Talk Internet offices in Stevenage. The new 4m cycle shelter powder coated in RAL 5010 - gentian blue, with a five place Toaster rack  provides Talk Talk employees with secure and sheltered cycle parking for up to ten bikes. Working with the contractor, Falco manufactured and installed the cycle shelter on time and within budget. Back in August Falco was commissioned by Wildgoose Construction to provide a sheltered cycle parking and waiting shelter facility for students use at the Rodbaston campus - South Staffordshire College.
