This is the funky series of buggy shelters Falco recently manufactured, supplied and installed for Herne City Council in Germany! Following previous installations of the buggy shelters within the city and positive feedback from users, Falco was  awarded the contract to supply and install a further series of thirteen shelters to eight separate nurseries  throughout the city. Each shelter is powder coated in a vibrant colour to represent a children’s environment and  offers parents with a dedicated buggy parking bay. Manufactured from 100% recyclable hot-dip galvanised steel and 100% recyclable polycarbonate plastic, the FalcoRoller is a sustainable purposely designed buggy shelter for storing pushchairs, buggies, prams or hospital wheelchairs. This is the funky cycle hub Falco recently designed, manufactured, supplied and installed at Schiphol North Bus Station, Netherlands. The eye-catching cycle hub is part of a €31m development aimed at transforming a renovated 1940s London World War 2 aircraft hangar into a state-of-the-art transport hub. To compliment the new development Falco designed and installed the contemporary cycle hub based on our flagship FalcoLok design with distinctive cycle parking branding, providing commuters with a dedicated secure cycle hub open 24 hours a day. Manufactured from recyclable hot-dip galvanised steel and safety glass, the FalcoLok-500 is a simple, yet effective cycle parking solution capable of housing any cycle rack or stand. With the use of vinyl graphics and powder coating, the cycle hub can easily match any cycle scheme, brand or theme. These are the eight contemporary FalcoTabula planters manufactured and supplied by Falco for Eijsden Town Centre, Limburg, Netherlands. The FalcoTabula planters were provided by the council to enhance the town centre open space  and provide a co-ordinated street furniture planter arrangement. The steelwork of each planter was powder coated in Graphite Black to provide enhanced looks and increased weather protection! The FalcoTabula planters are manufactured from recyclable hot-dip galvanised steel and sustainable hardwood slats. The steelwork on each planter can be polyester powder coated in any of the 192 standard RAL colours. These are the contemporary cycle canopies Falco manufactured, powder coated, supplied and installed for the Segro Skyline estate in Feltham adjacent to Heathrow Airport. The Segro Skyline is a new collection of world class offices and warehouses within close proximity to the UK’s largest transport hub with cycling meeting flying head on! As part of the state-of-the-art development, Falco provided the client with a total of 60 extra secure FalcoLevel two-tier cycle parking systems along with the spacious FalcoRail cycle canopy for complete weather coverage across two locations within the complex. The first of which received a series of 28 secure cycle parking spaces and the second 32 extra secure cycle parking spaces, both completely weather proof using the flagship FalcoRail design. The steelwork of each cycle canopy is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and only then is it powdered coated in RAL 9005 Jet Black to increase durability. Network Rail’s striking headquarters at the new ‘Quadrant Complex’ adjacent to Milton Keynes Station recently received two powder coated FalcoQuarter shelters with galvanised steel perch seats providing over 3,000 employees with a convenient and robust smoking shelter facility. Based on our best selling FalcoQuarter design, the two smoking shelters were manufactured, powder coated, supplied and installed by Falco last week and are positioned next to the Network Rail Health and Safety Office. The steelwork of each smoking shelter was powder coated in RAL 5014 Pigeon Blue to provide additional durability. The Quadrant opened in June 2012 on the former site of the England National Hockey Stadium and is now the National Centre for Network Rail which unites over 3,000 employees under one roof. A state-of-the-art redevelopment known as ‘Carlsberg City’ is due to open its doors in September 2016 next to Copenhagen city centre with Falco providing cycle parking throughout the development. Built on the former site of the famous brewer Carlsberg, who produced beer on the site from 1847 until 2008, the redevelopment aims to provide a new sustainable district in Copenhagen with housing, shops, offices, schools, a leisure centre and park, all keeping in harmony with the historical listed buildings and surrounding grounds. The redevelopment of the site will take a number of years and by the end of 2025 will be home to around 10,000 residents and 3,000 new apartments. The site will even has its own railway station, known as ‘Carlsberg Station’! As part of the redevelopment Falco manufactured, supplied and installed a series of 2,356 FalcoLevel two-tier cycle parking spaces and FalcoSound cycle racks, which will be used by the 10,000 residents and 800 students on a daily basis!
