Steelwork powder coated in RAL 6000 Patina Green Like all Falco structures, the FalcoQuarter cycle shelter not only meets the EN1090 Construction Products Regulations but also comes hot dip galvanised to EN1461 as standard. All products can then be powder coated in any of the 192 RAL colours in our own production facility. The shelter is clad in robust polycarbonate providing a maximum flow of light. With the addition of a simple walkway cover and optional gates front and rear, the FalcoQuarter can easily be made into a very versatile storage compound. Again with up to 5m variants, it is possible to create enclosed, weather proof spaces of any size. There are a wide range of cycle parking systems which can be incorporated into the FalcoQuarter including traditional Sheffield Stands, Toast racks, A-11 racks, Ideal racks, Perfecto stands and FalcoCam cycle stands. This is the new eye-catching cycle hub designed, manufactured, supplied and installed by Falco for c2c’s Westcliff Station in Westcliffe-on-Sea, Essex. The new secure cycle hub addition has been fitted with the tried and tested FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle rack, providing commuters to the station with secure cycle parking for up to 32 bikes, all within a spacious, purpose built shelter design. In addition to the cycle racks, the sleek 6m x 3.6m cycle hub has been fitted with a FalcoFix 2.0 cycle repair station, bespoke branding graphics, a mechanical code access system, reinforced safety glass cladding and powder coating in an attractive ‘Night Blue’ RAL colour. The included cycle repair stand is equipped with a cycle pump and a number of convenient tools in order to carry out basic cycle maintenance whilst on the go. The two-tier cycle racks are housed in a bespoke contemporary design of the classic Falco Cycle Hub shelter, which features clean lines through the glass cladding supported by stainless steel glass clamps. The whole shelter is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and then polyester powder coated. Rainwater is collected via innovative integral gutters as part of the roof system and a bespoke bund ensure that the cycle hub is weather proof! The cycle hub was developed by Falco’s in house design team to ensure it met the client’s specification including structural calculations to meet the EN 1090 CPR requirements of UK law. The FalcoLevel-Premium+ is the UK’s leading two-tier cycle rack designed to accommodate twice as many cycles within the same space restraints or any traditional cycle rack or stand. Moving forward, the two-tier cycle racks are designed to be maintenance free to provide minimal cost of ownership to the client (only occasional cleaning required). This is the latest cycle hub designed, manufactured, supplied and installed by Falco for Fairfield General Hospital in Bury, Greater Manchester. Installed on behalf of Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation trust, the cycle hub is based on the flagship FalcoLok design and provides staff, visitors and patients to the hospital with secure cycle parking for up to 28 bikes. The FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle racks are housed within a 6m x 4m version of the FalcoLok-500 cycle hub, complete with easy access automatic power doors, motion sensor LED lighting, helmet lockers, bespoke branding graphics and powder coating in an NHS blue RAL colour. The cycle hub is clad in toughened safety glass, designed to be sympathetic to the surrounding area. The whole shelter is a bespoke contemporary design of the classic Falco Cycle Hub shelter, which features clean lines through the glass cladding and supported by stainless steel glass clamps. The steelwork is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and also meets UK structural design laws with EN 1090 accreditation. These are the latest secure bike hangars installed this summer on behalf of Newport City Council. Commisioned for staff and customer use at the historic Waterloo Hotel & Bistro on Alexandra Road, Newport, the two new bike hangars provide secure cycle parking for up to six bikes each. The design of each bike hangar includes the Council’s own logo, instructional signage in both English and Welsh and powder coating in an attractive Moss Green RAL colour for additional durability. Installed at the hotel car park, each secure bike hangar takes up no more room than a single car parking space and is capable of accommodating all types of cycles - from road and mountain bikes to bikes with a child seat on the back or storage basket on the front. FalcoPod Bike Hangar The FalcoPod bike hangar, as shown here at Newport City Council, is a robust on-street cycle parking solution designed to meet the needs of cyclists who don’t have access to private cycle parking facilities. The improved innovative shape means that users no longer have to remove some baskets or child seats when storing their bike! Falco design is both evolutionary and innovative by nature and the new FalcoPod is no exception. This is the third generation of ‘bike hangar’ type product building on the pedigree of the original street locker the ‘Midi Bike Box’ with some great new features over existing products as follows: Size - fits in half a car parking space and houses 6 bikes, with covered weather protection. Family inclusive – with an ergonomically improved design, the additional space/height (55% more) means there is no need to remove child seats or baskets from the back or front of bikes. Bike security - the six place FalcoSound bike rack has three locking points including the ability to use a ‘D’ lock through the rear wheel and frame. Easy access - single door with integral lock and gas strut for assisted lifting. The effective bike hangar has already been successfully rolled out to the London Borough of Waltham Forest, Brent, Camden, Westminster and Merton Councils. This month, Falco began the roll-out of the UK’s first ever series of smart bike hangars with integrated mobile app access for Brighton & Hove City Council. The first twenty hangars have already been installed across Brighton, with a further eighty units to be installed, providing the seaside resort with a total fleet of 100 next generation bike hangars, equalling 600 secure on-street cycle parking spaces. Each futuristic bike hangar provides Brighton residents with quick and easy accessibility via the users smartphone. The user simply downloads the app, registers for a space, is granted accessibility via the back office and then can access their chosen hangar within seconds. For users without a smartphone, a physical key can be supplied instead. The images attached show the new smart residential bike hangar installations, supplied with bespoke Brighton & Hove City Council branding graphics, installed across Brighton at locations including Queen’s Park Road, Scotland Street, King’s Road, Coventry Street, Belgrave Street, Hamilton Road and Hythe Road. This is the eye-catching cycle hub Falco recently designed, manufactured, supplied and installed for the new National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) headquarters in Glasgow this month. Located near to Glasgow Airport, the cycle hub is part of a new multi million pound carbon neutral development for a flagship facility at the heart of the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland in Renfrewshire. Based on the flagship FalcoHub design, the 12m x 6m cycle hub is coupled with the FalcoLevel-Eco two-tier cycle parking system, providing 108 secure cycle spaces. Falco provided the eye-catching branding design which was applied to the powder coated sendzimir perforated sheet cladding, promoting the use of cycling as an alternative method of transport to and from the ground-breaking facility. In addition to the cycle hub, a bicycle silhouette statue was secured to the right side of the roof for additional branding.
