Falco has recently supplied five stylish FalcoSail cycle shelters for the Manchester Science Park! Each shelter is powder coated to provide additional durability and equipped with a FalcoToaster cycle rack to provide secure accommodation for up to ten bikes. Falco has recently designed, manufactured and supplied a stylish double-sided Triangle cycle shelter for the new Cobridge Community Health Centre in Stoke-on-Trent. As part of the new, three floor £14m state-of-the-art development, the Triangle cycle shelter was supplied on behalf of Wates Construction and adds the finishing design touches to the hospital entrance. The Triangle double-sided cycle shelter was chosen for its attractive design characteristics and great value for money in terms of secure cycle parking. The image attached shows the attractive cycle shelter addition, equipped with eight co-ordinated, space saving Triangle-30 ‘hi-lo’ cycle stands taking the available spaces up to 16 for just a 4m canopy! Triangle Cycle Shelters The double-sided variation of the popular Triangle range of cycle shelters offers a great design statement with the symmetry of the shelter arms creating a light and open arrangement. By placing two shelters facing each other a covered walkway or cycle compound can be easily created. Utilising the 2.25m span for each arm, a walkway 4m wide is possible – ideal for a public thoroughfare. Like all Falco shelters, the modular nature of the Triangle cycle shelter enables designers and specifiers to create a walkway system of any dimensions. The FalcoZan-180 cycle store with modified sliding gates is the latest addition to Loughborough University’s collection of Falco cycle shelters and cycle stores. Falco took to the design and manufacture, supply and installation of the robust cycle store last month, providing secure cycle parking for up to 10 bikes! The image attached shows the attractive FalcoZan-180, installed last month equipped with a 5 hooped FalcoToaster cycle rack inside. Falco continues to complete more contracts using the attractive FalcoZan-180 design which is easily modified to accommodate sliding doors at the front of the store if required. The FalcoZan-180 is very utilitarian and robust providing an extremely secure facility for accommodating cycles, machinery and equipment. The FalcoZan range is also available in a double-sided variation by placing two single-sided shelters back-to-back with options to create a 5m deep shelter whilst retaining the wide 4m opening front and back. All steelwork is hot-dip galvanised and can be polyester powder coated in any of the 192 standard RAL colours upon request. Falco took to the design and manufacture, supply and installation of an external bin store for the Think Tank Science Museum in Birmingham earlier this year on behalf of Fitzgerald Contractors. The original FalcoLok-250 design was chosen for its very robust and cost-effective price which was modified to accommodate a green sedum roof. The images attached show the attractive bin store supplied and installed by Falco last month! FalcoLok-250 Bin Store The FalcoLok-250 is the smallest version from FalcoLok store collection. It measures 2,500mm across the front x 3,980mm deep, with a door in the front section as standard (though it is optional to place one in the side). The store has an overall height of 2,250mm and a free head height of 2,100mm. The FalcoLok range is a bolt down application, making it a very easy product to install. The FalcoLok store range is becoming increasingly popular through-out the UK due to the design flexibility, allowing the store to be modified to match any scheme or specification. The 5m FalcoQuarter cycle shelter was chosen for its great design characteristics and cost-effective price in terms of sheltered cycle parking. Falco designed, manufactured, supplied and installed the new addition last month, which has been equipped with six below ground Sheffield Stands to provide secure accommodation for up to 12 bikes. The FalcoQuarter shelter is an ideal product for a wide range of applications including: cycle shelters, waiting shelters, smoking shelters and storage shelters. To provide eight additional cycle parking spaces, the FalcoQuarter was modified with an add-on section to take the total number of cycle spaces to sixteen.
