Falco placed a bin store, benches and planters to make this square a nice place to sit and relax in Trinity Square, Nottingham.
The bin store is a version of the FalcoRondo with a steel roof and wooden sidewalls. It shows the flexibility of the shelter FalcoRondo. The shelter can be placed with or without sidewalls. Other roof coverings such as polycarbonate, or walls made of safety glass, solid plastic sheets or lattice work are also available.
The benches are from the FalcoSwing street furniture series. These benches look good anywhere and resist all weathers. The Swing benches are vandal resistant because there are not any visible nuts or bolts on the seat or back support. The modular construction of the FalcoSwing street furniture makes many arrangements possible. Here you’ll find the bench with back support but they are also available without a back support and in a square or hexagonal arrangement.
The Topazio planters are a traditionally dimensioned planter design for public and private spaces. The inside is water-resistant and eye bolts are included to ease movement.
This square is complete with the bin store, benches and planters from Falco.

The architect had originally specified a FalcoQuarter cycle shelter, however the client decided that this was too tall and imposing and would obscure too much of the windows in this small courtyard. With assistance from Dave Inman, in Falco’s Technical Sales Team, we suggested using the FalcoGamma canopy as an alternative - a design which would give minimal impact on the adjacent offices.
The client agreed and was pleased with the final installation which included two bays of FalcoGamma 8m long with A-11 cycle racks and integral wheel gutters. Following hot dip galvanizing, both the canopy and cycle racks were powder coated to RAL 7011 Anthrasite Grey to match the railings and architectural features to create an attractive yet unassuming installation. |

New in our product range is the FalcoSafe-MK cycle locker. This cycle locker has the same qualities and construction as the 01.801.000 safe. The difference is found in the rouded roofshape and the conically course in the depth. Through this conical shape different positions can be formed to suit your situation. On the photo below is a placing in a long line can be seen with the doors of the cycle lockers opposite one another. It’s shape can be perfectly used for a “pieplacing” from wich ofcourse several “piepieces” can be left out. This cyclelocker has specifically been developped for the city of Milton Keynes in the UK. This is a genuine bikerscity where in several places in the city cyclelockers are going to be places. The flexible positioningpossibilities
are thereby the solution. Even the perforations in the door are in line with the cycleroutesigns in Milton Keynes. On the same spot you can also place your own logo or text.
In brief a multifunctional cycle locker with lots of application possibilities. |

When Falco was contacted by Whitman Laboratories early in 2007 to supply a smoking shelter for the UK headquarters of the prestigious Estee Lauder group we assumed it would be a simple standard canopy hidden round the back of the building. It was not until our Technical Sales Manager Dave Inman visited site was it realised that this was to be installed next to the main entrance and had to cover an existing landscaped hexagonal seating area
After several meetings on site it was decided that the best way to provide a suitable canopy for such a high profile position in a blue chip company was to use Falco’s Project W. We put together a proposal, which following granting of planning permission by the local council was installed in June and completed in time to meet the implementation of the new smoking regulations which came into force on the 1st July 2007. |

The disabled parking bay cover at Ealing Council HQ. At first Galliford Try asked us to quote for a cycle / bin store specified by thier architect. At the same time we sent a brochure and they then liked the look of the Falcozan, so we did a revised quote for 24m long secure store in mesh and 16m open bin store, which they eventually ordered.
This job evolved from the standard 29.5 but during its construction in Holland the customer changed the front legs to 10mm wall thickness to cope with a car impacting at 16km p h. Oak shrouds were requested for all of the roof supports, which we obtained locally. Also strip lighting was required under the canopy.
As the road is lined with trees, we had to fit leaf guards to each roof section to prevent the gutters clogging which was most important as the modified front supports were capped off and didnt drain away |
