These are the 32 FalcoBloc picnic tables Falco supplied to Euston Railway Station back in April 2008. Now fourteen years on, after continuous use all day every day within the capital, the picnic tables are in as good of a condition now as when they were first supplied! Each picnic table was repainted during lockdown to continue to protect each unit from weather and general wear and tear, enabling each picnic table to last another ten years and beyond! Back in 2008, when Network Rail was looking to upgrade the concourse outside Euston station, they approached Falco to develop a bespoke picnic table solution. Based on the original FalcoBloc range of seating, the new design for the main West Coast terminus was specially adapted to meet the needs of the travelling public. Falco’s street furniture design team took the popular FalcoBloc table and adapted it in conjunction with the requirements of Network Rail’s station management team. The solid and functional picnic table design provides a stylish and welcoming environment for travellers to the North and West. These are the striking new series of bespoke architectural street furniture Falco designed, manufactured and installed at the Royale City Square Plaza in Enschede, Netherlands. The stunning new Royale City Square is designed by famous urban artist ‘Arne Quinze’ and is expected to become the busiest part of the city due to its central location with over 10,000 daily visitors! Working in partnership with Enschede City Council, Falco provided a key element of the plaza by designing and manufacturing a bespoke series of street furniture which form a coherent array of seating elements to compliment the artist’s streetscape vision. Falco manufactured 29 seats with 6 co-ordinated benches and with the addition of LED lighting incorporated into each unit the plaza is brought to life at both day and night! Each seat is manufactured from 100% recyclable hot-dip galvanised steel combined with sustainable hardwood slats. These are the eight contemporary FalcoTabula planters manufactured and supplied by Falco for Eijsden Town Centre, Limburg, Netherlands. The FalcoTabula planters were provided by the council to enhance the town centre open space  and provide a co-ordinated street furniture planter arrangement. The steelwork of each planter was powder coated in Graphite Black to provide enhanced looks and increased weather protection! The FalcoTabula planters are manufactured from recyclable hot-dip galvanised steel and sustainable hardwood slats. The steelwork on each planter can be polyester powder coated in any of the 192 standard RAL colours. Falco recently installed a run of 7km of FalcoPathfinder solar powered cycle path lights along the River Lossie cycle path in Elgin!!! The cycle path offers a much safer alternative to the A96 in terms of cycling from nearby Lhanbryde into Elgin and the addition of the new demarcation lights offers a more pleasurable journey for night time commuters as well as increased safety and reassurance. Parts of the route were already lit by street lighting from a nearby park and it was decided  that there was merit in lighting the rest of the route to further encourage use of the cycle path for cyclists and pedestrians at night. Through the staggered positioning of the lights at 10, 20 and 40m intervals on opposite sides of the path, cyclists can clearly see the edges of the route and red LED lights highlight potential hazards such as junctions. Frost warning lights situated at the start of new sections of the route highlight the need to take additional care should the temperature dip below +2°C.
