New Rifle Street Telephone System for Kids!

The Science Park range of sensory play products by Modo srl, (distributed by Falco), offer children a unique experience in terms of play value. The Modo ‘Speak into the Tube’ (pictured) is a prime example of the creativity used to form a series of products with an educational twist.

The images shown is a recent installation in Rifle Street, London. The eight mouthpieces are simply connected to one another to create four pairs of ‘speaking tubes’. These are arranged in an eccentric pattern which challenges us to discover which of our friends will reply at the other end. They are usually arranged to form a circle, so that a gathered emplacement is created; but it is possible to create a bespoke design with the 4 couple of connections which is only limited by the maximum distance of 50m between the mouth/ear pieces of each couple.

The structure is manufactured from robust stainless steel tubing connected underground using flexible tubing. The children at this newly developed housing estate can now consume their time wisely, as they combine the fun of playing with the educational factor of learning.
