Falco is accredited to ISO 14001 Environmental Management System

Throughout the last 60 years quality, service and sustainability has been a core importance to Falco and we are pleased to report that our manufacturing facilities have now passed all the requirements to become accredited to ISO 14001 Environmental Management systems! The attached image shows the Falco Group Managing Director Franz Friesacher and Operations Manager William Flim with the ISO 14001 certificate.

Following the move to a new sustainable head office, Falco's shelter and street furniture manufacturing plant is now officially in line with the company ethos of moving continuously towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly organisation. Falco already has ethical procurement and materials recycling systems in place and the ISO 14001 badge enables us to proudly demonstrate our ongoing commitment to all things green.

The ISO 14001 certification demonstrates that sustainability is integrated into all departments within the Falco production system and ensures that each department complies with all environmental legislation.

Additionally, all new delivery vehicles are now equipped with Euro 5 engines as standard to keep fuel emissions to a minimum, with all deliveries within the same area combined into one delivery. Our complete range of street furniture uses FSC hardwood throughout, this means that the product environmental credentials are fully intact. With all hardwood's being sourced from sustainable forests you can be sure that a Falco bench or seating product will support your environmental plan. Additionally all cycle shelters and stores are available with FSC hardwood cladding upon request. As Falco continues to increase its product range, we simply aim to use materials from a sustainable source in order to reduce the need to consume natural resources. Plus our offices at Leek have full material recycling for; paper, cardboard, plastic, wood, metal and glass!
